Yes as I remember the minimum wage was $1.75 an hour or about $3500 a year then. A new 3/2 home in a nice new burb on the north was in the mid 20's at the time too.That was a lot for back then!
I used to love the Pepperidge Farm Vanilla Cake. I *think* I remember what you're talking about though.Anybody remember back in say mid 80sish there was a frozen thing out there I believe made by Pepperidge farm, it was like a meat pie with salty roast beef and the pie part was very fluffy and almost layered like a biscuit? It looked like a big biscuit but had the roast beef type filling. Man they were so good I loved them. Can't seem to find the exact same thing
