I'm so old I Remember when:

Now you did it. Told everyone we eat a lot of junk food.:barnie
OH NO! Now we're ALL in trouble!
Our local high schools have "healthy" snacks - juices, baked chips, whole wheat pretzels, and such - available in machines the students can access. The ones in the faculty lounge have the "Good Stuff!" :D

We have coffee machines in many places: offices, hospitals, universities, community centers , etc.
Many machines offer: tea or hot water, coffee with or without milk/sugar, cappuccino, expresso, hot chocolate.

We have vending machines with snacks and canned drinks too sometimes. The soup/broth machines are dedicated machines and certainly not very common. I suppose people don’t like coffee with the taste of broth.

Hospital vending machine coffee is NASTY!! But when you're in the emergency room at 3 am and it's the only game in town, it's MANNA!

There is a peculiarly British (I think it is actually Scottish) dish called Kedgeree. When I look at a recipe for it today I feel like it is something I would like.
Never having heard of this, I looked up that recipe. It doesn't look like something I'd enjoy. OTOH I hear Scotch eggs are very tasty and am looking forward to attempting them. Any hints or tricks you can share?

Same here. Im sure I will enjoy Kedgeree if its made like this with Indian spices and some simple veggies like peas and tomatoes.

Scotch eggs are not exactly a health food - but they are very yummy!
I have never tried making them. As kids we were always fascinated by the thought on how they got the egg inside. I still don't know, but assume it is boiled before it is wrapped in the sausage.
