We went to Disneyland a lot (lived about a half hour away) and had a kitchen drawer full of half-used ticket books. I wish we would have kept them, they're collectors' items now.

This was popular when I was in middle school and high school. I don't know why, we all lived at the beach and had naturally sun-lightened hair anyway. The effects of marketing, I suppose.

When I was 11 years old I wanted a powder blue satin jacket and matching cap so bad! All the cool teenagers were wearing them. I never did get them. Guess I wasn't cool enough.
