I'm so old I Remember when:

should I give a sad or happy face?
I don't know. He had changed his life and I'd give a sad. I don't know who or why they assassinated him. I had to write a paper in college about him... We were given a lot of information by the prof.

I don't know about y'all, but I've lived long enough that nothing surprises me anymore. I'm not sure if that's a good thing or not. 🤨
I've tried to expose myself to enough that I'm never blindsided.
It's not often but I still am shocked sometimes.

Interesting question though. In 'Gone with the Wind' (the book) Scarlet's grandmother was at the Fort Mimms Massacre*.
She said she wasn't afaraid of anything any more and "it wasn't a good thing." I always wondered if that was true or not.

*I wouldn't look deeply into that part of history if your faint of heart. Part of the Creek War in Alabama. I used to be part of the reenactments there. Racial/cultural hatered at it's worst. (1813)
