I'm so old I Remember when:

Did any of you watch the Andy Griffith Show? I came across it a few months ago and liked it a lot - but I’ve only watched a few episodes.
Yes, the originally aired ones and Petticoat Junction, Have Gun Will Travel, The Wild Wild West.

I remember 8 track tapes. And my Dad going to the Sunoco station and telling the attendant to "Fill it up with 220!!"I think gas cost around 10 cents a gallon. And I watched Neil Armstrong land on the moon. Also remember the horses that carried the coffin of JFK and the funeral being broadcast on TV.

The Wild Wild West is one of my favorite tv shows ever. The great opening and theme music, crazy plots, guest stars, villains, the stunts! Love it all.

They had them in east Texas too. I remember thinking they were so fun.
Yeah, great fun until they figured out how much radiation you were getting and quit using it.

I remember when if you bought chickens for the farm you had a choice mostly of Rock, Reds, and white leghorns at the feed store.
I remember them being locally produced, only real hatchery I remember was Murray McMurry! Not many feed stores bought hatchery chicks to sell.

IDK if anyone remembers this, but when I was little you could go to a gas station, (the one with the Pegasus on it) and they would give out little plastic toy animals.
I don't remember the toys but Pegasus was Mobils mascot.

And Columbia
I was on Task Force 1 (Texas's Emergency Response Team) when the Columbia disenergrated over East Texas. The most disturbing thing was finding one of the astronauts helmets....of course no head was in it! I still have hard copies of the debris field as it was falling from the sky, via Intellicast Weather Radar.
