I'm so old I Remember when:

I'm not sure if I want to go to any class reunions.

One of the girls in my class is a billionaire, I believe; her dad was the guy who started The Villages in Florida. Her daughter is Megan Boone, the actress who played the lead in The Blacklist.

Her older brother is also a billionaire, has 3 private jets. My brother has built "a couple" of houses for him.

My brother never finished high school. He can barely read (dyslexic), but is a genius when it comes to building things and fixing machines.

I'm an old(ish) lady who has a couple of gardens, 8 chickens, a loving husband, and a silly puppydog. I don't have billions to worry about, or 3 private jets to maintain. Or the other trappings and traps of extreme wealth. I think I did all right.
Money won`t buy happiness in my opinion! Plenty think so though! We are like you we have what we need and are happy with that!

And I can still drive one, my BIL has one so when he borrows my truck I take his car 😉

It’s amazing really how one just ‘automatically’ knows how to drive one! (Little pun there).
When we got our automatic transmission car, I would sometimes step on the brake, thinking it was the clutch, and put the car in park, thinking it was first gear. Nope, didn't start slowly from a stop.🤦‍♀️

I still have the can from a decaf Suisse Mocha. It's on the counter to hold things like paperclips and twist ties.

And who were they kidding, 20 servings?!? I made cocoa out of that stuff, which is why I had to get decaf. Mix 3 spoons of that stuff into a cup of regular coffee... mmmmmmm.

I remember 25 cent hamburgers at McDonalds on Wednesdays. My mom would often swing by after church with my sister's and I so each of us could order the maximum amount of hamburgers we could and take most of them home to freeze for later.
