I remember the night that Congressman Jerry Litton and his wife and kids were killed when their plane crashed on take off. He had just won the primary to run for the senate and were leaving to go and celebrate his victory. Two years before I worked for him and his father on the family ranch.

It was amazing how far a potato could be shot out of a pipe with vinegar and baking soda....

If I remember correctly the police starting cracking down on spud guns when widows started breaking.... that put a stop to those shooting at wooden targets in their own backyards.

My dad taught all my brothers to drive before they turned 10. But he said the girls had to wait for driver's ed. He said he wasn't brave enough for all that
