Travelers stop to look at Paul Bunyan and his blue ox, Babe, sculpted out of concrete on the shores of northern Minnesota's Lake Bemidji. The sculptures still exist today as one of the most photographed roadside attractions in the U.S.—and the duo are on the National Register of Historic Places.

Cool. That would definitely be worth a visit.

A few years back we were in the Four Corners area and stayed at the Wigwam Hotel on Route 66 in Holbrook, Az. (Also got to stand on the corner in Winslow AZ.)

I remember when a shop alway treated a customer with respect and "a customer was always right".
What happened there

Nasty, Entitled Customers happened to "The customer is always right." What happened to common, decent MANNERS!"
I am truly blessed to have a local shop that still believes in old-fashioned good service. Thank You, Morgan's!

Yup - and TWO keys ... one for the door and one for the ignition!

I was confused by why the SQUARE key was for the ignition for the engine, where there were round things, or some things went 'round, and the ROUND key was for the square-ish door.

Brainerd, MN has them. Every summer we have a family camp in Crosby, MN (15 miles away from there) and drive by them. Still pretty cool to see even after nearly 60 years of seeing them annually.

That one's Bemidji, MN. The ones we see every summer are in Brainerd, MN.
