I'm old enough to remember playing Pong for hours on our Atari.

We had Pac-Man tournaments. I mostly watched my older cousins play for hours. The night my little brother broke his arm we played until my aunt brought mom and my brother back home again.

I remember playing Pac-Man until I paralyzed Pac and could have my way. At that point he couldn't catch me and I had in effect ended the game winning for ever. That was only one of two video games I ever bought. The other was a football game that I played with my son.

Oh yes. That describes my mom's oven and refrigerator when I was growing up. The counter top was orange and we had orange flecked carpet in the dining room! (And brown carpet with orange flecks in the living room that went perfectly with the orange plaid sofa)
