I'm so old I Remember when:

I will still watch this when it comes. Just saw it the other day.

I recorded this on VHS back in the early 90's during a severe thunderstorm. It was playing on one of the local stations. I put it in the VCR and watched it again several years back with numerous weather watches and warnings breaking in. Confused me for a few seconds before I remembered.

I remember traveling to a lake not to far away and renting a boat and fishing daylight to dark without seeing shore until just before dark.
Our summer spot like that was one of the lakes in Brackney, PA. We usually stayed a few days at a time. They had a camp store with all the essentials from nightcrawlers and row boat rental to ice cream and pickled Polish sausages.

How about cruising the main drag in a small town on Friday and Saturday nights?
I'm sure that's a thing of the past now.
I took the pups for ice cream one warm night last summer. We just happened to be in the right place at the right time to sit in the parking lot enjoying our sundaes and watch dozens upon dozens of vehicles from the last 70 or so years cruising "the strip".

And that just reminded me of the fun movie American Graffiti. 💝

Just caught up again, this is moving so fast, and I'm not getting alerts.
Liver is not cooked with onions, it's bacon! First, fry the bacon (Oscar Meyers, of course) and then cook the liver in the bacon fat. Mom fixed it every Saturday night. Now I'm the only one who likes it, so it never happens ...
And I've forgotten what else I was going to say...
