I am finally in a position to start looking at those 'rural property' adds seriously.
My Dad wanted to go back to the country so bad he could taste it. I tracked over every acre of land for sale in Southern Louisiana and Mississippi with him about 55 years ago. Looking for the perfect place to put a catfish farm.
He found it. 1000a., flowing well, deer, turkey, bordered a game reserve. Couldn't raise the $100K. (1972 dollars.)
