I'm so old I Remember when:

That's a little older than me but I do remember Trolls and Cabbage Patch Kids
One of my cousins who was blessed with chubby cheeks and dimples used to cross her eyes and screw up her face to mockingly pretend she was a Cabbage Patch doll. She did actually look quite like one.

Did you work there when they did Monopoly?
Free food was the best.
I remember when they did a thing with the Olympics. Russia or Germany or some other highly competitive country didn't participate that year. Result - a LOT of free burgers, fries, and soda pops.

I’m so old I remember my children playing Wii 😜. Mario games and Guitar hero were favourites. (MDD picked it up after she and her boyfriend moved to their current house, still has it and isn’t old 🤣)
There's a local pub that still has Guitar Hero available so patrons can show off or embarrass themselves in front of their fellow diners and drinkers. There used to be (pre-C19) a different establishment that has karaoke 3 nights a week.

Cant be safe to go online with it when it runs on the same operating system.

And yes, Im so old I remember the Windows sequence 2.0, 3.0, 95, 98 , NT, XP, Vista (probably forgot a few and bought 🍏 since)
Millennium edition is best left forgotten.

I am trying to remember. I definitely remember the rule was I had to be back in by the time lights came on. I don't really remember being chased out - I remember wanting to go out.
But I really cannot remember how old I was. I think like you older than 5.
What amazes me today is that I think the 'back before dark' thing was like the only rule. I remember going places and doing stuff that terrify me just thinking about it today - but I don't think we were breaking any rule from home. I think maybe I wasn't a naughty kid because there weren't that many rules to break!
Some of the funnest games, like neighborhood hide and seek for instance, were much more fun after dark and with only streetlights.

Me too troyer
If I'm going out to eat food better than my own it's gonna be a quest
According to my son, I might be a really good cook but my brother is the best baker ever and my sister is the best at putting things together in a meal. 😾 Can't win em all, I guess.

I was a HS student when Beanies took off… and I worked in a store that sold them. I had access to all the new limited edition ones that were going to be worth thousands of dollars as long as you didn’t take the tag off… they’re now sitting in a box in my moms basement…
McDonald's?
