While in Montreal at Expo 67 as we were going through the World's Fair our two year old son some how turned up missing. We started back tracking and found in in the Russian Pavilion during the height of the Cold War.

Life was like before mobile phone:
Conversation was had without the interruption of mobile phone.
A proper sentence was had, without those emoji
I was not constantly interrupted by the text messages or calls for unimportant and meaningless things.
My friends and I had a proper conversation, not just a hundred text message and only a few words on each.
Time was not loss on the endless interruption of mobile phone.
My best friend and I wrote each other 1 letter a day, we went to the post office to post it.

I do think emojis are alright. They can help convey information or a certain feeling.

My experience is that there are so many emoji and some emoji do not come through from Iphone to Android and vice versa. Simple emoji is easy to decode, but there are many that I am unable to decode them. This is from I am not educating myself on these emojis because I am too old for it, and I do not like mobile phone that much.
Mobile phone maintenance is big task.Mobile phone's functionality is not functional like landline phone.

I have had issues where someone would send me a emoji, and it wouldn't render because I was on a old version of iOS. Super annoying.

It happened to me, those that did not reply with a text, but with emoji and that emoji did not come through or I don't know what that emoji is. I only know a few basic emoji.
I do feel some seclusion on my part because the world is changing so fast, so fast.
