I was weirded out once when we hitched-hiked in Greece long time ago.

The people who gave us a hike were from Norway. They had a rental and needed petrol. At the ️ the lady of the gasoline offered us a drink, around lunchtime , while we had to wait.
Especially the driver was flabbergasted. In Norway there is a zero tolerance policy for drinking for I don’t remember how ..many years.

Is that a zero tolerance for drinking? Or for drinking and driving?

With the egg issue here in the states maybe we should form a cabal and run blackmarket eggs? I know we’re overloaded.

Good idea, thanks. My very mild fear is of falling on my way out to the hen house. Chickens and dogs dig, so there is a possibility of turning an ankle and going down out there.

We have ground squirrels here and they tunnel everywhere. I keep finding new holes and dips in the yard and I'm always worried I'm going to turn an ankle. Even when I was a young, fit athlete I had wonky ankles.

The squirrels even tunnel under our brick patio and sections have collapsed right under my feet a few times. They also want our chicken feed and eggs. They cause a lot of problems. Not my favorite critters.

These balancing disks have done wonders for strengthening my ankles and improving my balance. Those are two things I really want to maintain or improve as I age. A physical therapist showed me how to use them when I was in my twenties and I've been using them ever since. They cost ~$20 which is a lot cheaper than ankle surgery! I recommend them.

Of course giving eggs away could curry ‘God Father’ like favors in return. Just think about it, anyone of us could become The Godfather of Eggs. But……. different egg families would splinter, then the egg wars would begin, RICO charges would be lodged, and………..well, never mind.
