X2. It's sad seeing so many things become vulgar because of bad language. I had a friend who used a bad word once, and I told him I would leave if he didn't stop. He never did it again as a exclamation in front of me, and I'm glad he took the advice.A shame.
content consumers dictate. Seems to me a large portion of the population enjoys the foul language although they will feign distaste.X2. I remember the time I took my 4 youngsters to the video store to pick out movies for the snowy weekend and above the checkout Island was playing a very racy scene. I asked the clerk if they thought it was appropriate to be showing movies with (what must be a hard R verging on X rated) content like that. To my surprise, she looked up, saw what was on, and said it was a television show and didn't even bother switching it to a more family friendly fare seeing the number of people under 18 in the store. And nowadays nobody gives a damn about "damn" on air, anyway. It's pretty sad what our Littles are exposed to on a regular basis.
So, here's another "I'm so old" quote - I remember when seeing heavy violence and off-color (even objectionable) language onscreen was "by choice" and not "de facto." ...{{{...sigh...}}}...
I wonder if there is a place you can report that too.I remember the time I took my 4 youngsters to the video store to pick out movies for the snowy weekend and above the checkout Island was playing a very racy scene. And comedians. It really bothers me with people swearing in videos. I've found that I enjoy youtubers who keep their language clean more than one with bad language.
Seeing as it was about 25 years ago, I'm pretty sure the opportunity has passed.I wonder if there is a place you can report that too.
Yeah, that seems like a long time ago.Seeing as it was about 25 years ago, I'm pretty sure the opportunity has passed.
