“I mean, er, um… so I’ve heard” also
(thankfully those days are a part of my testimony)

I was in Kindergarten and the teacher made an announcement. I thought, who? I found out, as it was my birthday and my mother cancelled my birthday party and told my father they were not going out anywhere for 2 weeks to mourn.I remember where I was standing and what I was doing when the announcement that JFK had been assassinated.
See my avatar...I remember chicklets
& I remember the colorful flavored gum with stripes with the zebra on the package but I forgot the name and they all taste the same to me
I put my raw milk from a herd share into glass jars I bought on Amazon. Works greatI remember milk being delivered in glass jars. OK, I was very very young but the bottles. Now, I transfer our milk to glass, but we have a herd share for raw milk and I want to protect it.![]()
My mom once told me that one of her childhood memories was the sound of her dad scraping the "burn off his toast." During the Depression, you certainly DID NOT throw it out!I don't remember this but we currently use it and have for decades. No switch, just plug for on and unplug for off.
Now, I will tell you, I have burnt some bread, by walking away, but I like burnt toast.
I rarely drank milk prior to raw. Now, yummy and healthy. Cow is fed non gmo. We purchased 1/2 gal canning jars $12-13 for 4. We keep grains etc in them. Sometimes with a vac sealer.I put my raw milk from a herd share into glass jars I bought on Amazon. Works great
Heck, we're on SS, yes some in savings but I was never one to waste. Your grandfather and I would have been friends. My mom once told me that one of her childhood memories was the sound of her dad scraping the "burn off his toast." During the Depression, you certainly DID NOT throw it out!
