I'm so old I Remember when:

You know, I’ve been in at least fifty houses and haven’t seen a single one with a family room other than my grandparents’ house which they built themselves in the 80’s. And maybe one or two other old houses. I wonder when they went out of style.

What I remember about family rooms or dens were where you hung out with comfortable furniture with your close family and friends

And living rooms had the most uncomfortable furniture ( and sometimes plastic covered) for family and friends that you didn’t want staying for too long

I remembe when I moved this apartment

I remember when I moved to this apartment complex in 2007 laundry room
The washers and dryer’s were $1.50 and now they’re $2

The last time I used a laundromat was about 4-5 years ago and it cost $6 $8 $10 for small medium large washers and the dryers were $2 for every 10 minutes

They used to have 3 levels of tools. The best was the Professional and they were really good tools. The other 2 were just a midgrade and then a really cheap one and those were not so good. I don't know that they still have the 3 different levels since Stanley Black and Decker bought them. I don't think they do, though. It seems like they are all kind of midgrade tools. Not really bad, but nothing like their Professional.

They also used to have a lifetime warranty that didn't even require a receipt, but now it is quite a bit tougher to get a broken tool repaired or replaced. If I remember correctly it has changed to 25 years instead of lifetime and you must have receipt and it still can be tough to get honored.

Most all of my tools are craftsman’s because of the lifetime warranty and my brother has his own and is still using my dad’s
