I'm so old I Remember when:

I remember only liking at the time and watching twelve of those 80's tv shows.
I remember Iwhen we got a VCR and then I could record what I really wanted to watch.
Some of the others I have watched in the years since on either syndication or DVD or tubi pluto rv

You stopped at the gas station when traveling to a new place to buy a map of the area.
Later if you were going on vacation somewhere unfamiliar you went to a bookshop to buy a guidebook to figure out what to do and what to avoid at your holiday destination.

Reminds me of the welcome centers on the interstate going to another state

And they would give you a map and hi light where you were going if you asked them too

I remember when it cost 25Ā¢ for admission to Cypress Gardens. A cheap place to take a date. I think it cost more to watch the ski show. The park now is a Lego Land and it costs a lot more than a quarter to get in there.

I remember going to cypress gardens when I was 14 or 15 and seeing the ski show thats been 49-50 years ago

We also went to silver spring and rode the glass bottom boat

Farthest I can remember back my parents had a white Lincoln with suicide doors as a familybile and my dad had a white truck. Don't know what kind or year but I vaguely remember playing with the chains on the tailgate lock things. It was at least old enough to have chain clasps instead of the locks they have now
