This is new to me, but no surprise. We didn't get toys. We got bricks and chunks of wood and scraps of plywood from Dad's jobs. We made our "toys" out of these things. We had trikes and bikes, teddy bears and a few small plastic toys (I had horses, my brother had cars). We didn't know Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, EtchA Sketch and Erector sets existed till we visited our cousins. They hid the erector sets from us, I guess we were kind of destructive., Lol.
