I hated Blockbuster! Specifically, their "" 2-day rental"" policy. You could theoretically rent a video at, say 11:59pm, then return it at 12:01 am, a total of 2 MINUTES, and it counted as TWO DAYS. You could argue until you're blue in the face that 24 hours is ONE day, overnight is ONE day, but nope - you're charged for TWO. If you get that policy wrong and rent your video on a Monday but return it TWO days later on Wednesday, you will be charged LATE fees or double the rental fee for another "two" days - because Monday to Tuesday is two days, and Tuesday to Wednesday is another two days......
Ugh. Can you tell I'm STILL mad about this, 30 years later???

I wanted one so bad it hurt. My Dad couldn't afford to buy it for me. My Grandfather made a large rocking horse for me instead. He used my Grandmother's old fur coat to cover it, belts for reins and big buttons for eyes. I named it Buttermilk after Dale Evans horse.
