95% of the time they were wonderfully comfortable to sleep on but if the heater went out or the tiniest leak happened ! The apartment complex I lived in at one time didn't allow them except in ground level units.

America as well. Every once in a while I still see them for sale. You useta could buy foam bb pellet refills to fluff your bag back up - probably still can since the bag is still around somewhat.

My little brother did this when he was about 9 yrs old. He climbed up on his upper bunk and came down hard on his bean bag chair. Those tiny pellets went everywhere! Looked like it snowed in his room.
Needless to say Mom was not pleased.
