I'm so old I Remember when:

My FIL raced a 66 Nova. (We have a classic car shrine in the garage - the hubby's hangout) He's about to finish a restoration on his grandfather's 1960 Chevy Apache truck. I bought him a pristine 76 Corvette a few years ago to add to his little happy space.

That`s Cool some nice rides! My brother has a 67 Nova. My first ride in a fast car was a ride in a 66 Nova with a "built" 327 with a four speed. He stopped and launched it and it shoved me back in the seat! I couldn`t stop laughing! I was about 10. I will always have love for a fast old car! 🙂

Good times!!! The husband has put some monster engine in the truck. (I wouldn't know what it was) He took off in it one day, and the front end launched into the air. It made me laugh! I told him that he could not drive "fast" around here. His reply: "That's ok. I know what it CAN do". 😆

Sounds like a hoot! If it can pop a wheelie he has some serious power under the hood! Sounds like fun! 😂

Ain't THAT the truth! Appliances have gotten too technical, too touchy, too low quality and waaaaaaaay too expensive. I have an early 1980's upright freezer in my basement. The only maintenance it's ever needed is a manual defrost every other year or so.
Yeah, pay a couple thousand for a plastic fridge, and extra for a warranty. It might last a year!

My daughter's current vehicle - a Hyundai Ioniq - can definitely throw people back in their seat. I thought my turbo GTI was impressive getting up to 90 on the highway on-ramp from a red light stand still but that electric vehicle is like turning on a light switch - full power instantly. Woohoo!!!
