I'm so old I Remember when:

Or skirts.
So a few years back, a couple buddies and I took a jaunt to Pittsburg. We were downtown and rode the elevator (that only faced out). One of the guys freaked out and kept his back to the wall.

The other cool thing was the cable trolly was running up and down the hillside of the mountain.

When we went to leave... It got even more "hairy". We were on a private drive (if you wanna call it that). We were in my truck, and literally had 6 inches on either side of us.

On one side we had a vehicle double parked with just 6 inches from my truck. The driver's side was even worse... because the road was so narrow.

So by this time. I'm looking straight down over the edge of the cliff... Watching my tires in relation to the dropoff. If my truck had been any wider...I wouldn't be telling this story

So... After enjoying site seeing Pittsburg (because my sis and BIL moved to Georgia), we loaded up my truck with things they didn't want.

We went to go home, and before we got on Ohio the turnpike... we went through a drive through carry out, and bought a case of Iron City beer. I think people can surmise what happened afterwards, and thankfully the nice officer was in a good mood, but it was a long walk back to the truck.

And a 4 hour drive turned into an 8 hour drive. Facepalm🤦
