I'm so proud of my BR pullet CiCi

She finally laid her first egg today!!! It it pretty big for a first egg, but the shell is very rough. Anyone who has read some of my earlier posts might remember that CiCi adopted us and was living under our deck. I had no idea how old she was. I finally convinced hubby to build a coop and on Aug. 10th I got her some friends. I have a GLW who has been laying since mid-August, but it wasn't the same as anticipating CiCi laying.

Today is exactly 14 days after she started squating. I told her how pround I was and gave her some grapes.
