I'm so sad

Saturday morning I went out to take care of my ducks and they were gone. I noticed the side gate was open,I ran to the front yard hoping they were out there,but no luck. I got in the car and rode around,asked neighbor's etc. I'm starting to think they were stolen. I'm really heart broken.

I hope they're just hiding and will come back when they are hungry. It does look suspicious. Are you in an area where a lot of people have livestock? Has anyone else had any problems with animal theft?

Maybe they flew south. Were their wings clipped. Talked with a guy at TC who raised some and they flew south for the winter. Then they came back the following spring. Might seem far fetched, but it's possible.

Sorry but DOMESTIC ducks dont fly south for the winter. Most domestics cant fly well, they will get some lift, but not flight for 1000's of miles.

Mallards can fly, TSC often sells mallards in many areas. Call ducks can fly, muscovy can fly.
