See Ive brought my thyroid up to my SO and hes said "NO WAY! Sarah you would be like 300lbs" but what does he know
I have been slowly gaining weight too..
I do have dry skin and hair, and this water retention... Does it happen in the lower belly?
No problems with constipation though. Depression... kinda. Its not that Im sad I just have this 'Why should I do this? No one cares' feeling all the time.
not true. my 13 year old has low thyroid problems and she is at 112lbs. please try to get a physical to find out why you are tired. It's better to be safe than sorry
this is exactly right, and there is also conditions of the T. that a blood test does not show, and a lot of these symptoms are the ones mentioned above. I would get that checked out, and then go to a health food store and get some good vitamins for a woman your age and see if that helps. You don't gain weight with thyroid either, it can swing the other way. I went to school with a girl that was a stick and she is almost 60 and still a stick and it was all due to an overactive thyroid, she told me. Wish mine was just a wee bit more active.
