Id call animal control, the cops, & Meals on Wheels to report this nut (also ask MOW to change people or like you said have your mom pick up the meals). Just because she isnt assigned to deliver to you anymore doesnt mean she will forget where you are located. If you can, I would also lock all paddocks, pens, gates, etc with heavy locks & purchase some sort of surveillance system for just in case. Hopefully nothing more will happen but with some people now a days... Ive never had any type of security on our property except for all the dogs, but yesterday some one stole our truck we lent to a friend (from his house) & in the truck was our papers with our address etc not to mention a set of keys for one of our other trucks (our big F-250)
. Not sure if its someone we know (no broken glass so they either had a key, friend is trustworthy friend's relatives not so much, or hauled it) or a random car jacker, but now all of our gates have heavy locks, & besides game cams we are also looking into security cameras. I miss the good old days when this was a safe country neighborhood. Anyways you get my point. Some nuts just dont let you feel safe anymore
. Oh one last thing: Im not sure how your property is set up but if your animals' areas are behind & next to your house I would also set up "No Trespassing" signs, these signs, & the ones I cant find a link to, but they are really long, in B&W text, & say some thing about warning we assume no responsibility for any damage to people or property involving equines on this property. You know, the ones that are seen at horse facilities & places that have people just like this nut hanging around. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
at least I think thats how you say it.
I dont want to scare the bejesus out of you, but in case things do get worse at least you did as much as possible to prevent stuff & are ready.
