I'm soo.....MAD!

I am really without words too. Because my dad was in the Air Force for 25 years, my grandfather served and all of my 7 uncles too. So every branch of service was represented by my uncles, dad and grandfather. From before WWI to Vietnam they served!

Sorry your husband was treated that way. My hat is off to him for serving our country and protecting our liberties and freedoms!!!!

If I'd been still in uniform I probably would have smiled sweetly and said " yes, they let us in, someone has to protect our children from rampant closed minds such as yours ".

OMGoodness! :O
I can not even type! I am at a loss for words!

What if the heck it wrong with people? I am would have said something! No way I would have stood there with not saying anything! It is due to your husband and other veterans that she is allowed to even have the freedom of speech!

I'm afraid that is more and more common everyday. I met so many grateful people in Europe who still remember the war and what we did for them. I went on a field trip with my kid and was talking to another mom, and I said my husband was in Iraq, and she was horrified, not in a way of I'm sorry he gone, but that he was a soldier and he was there at all.
