So about three months ago we got two "female" splash blue swedish ducks.
Well they still haven't gotten their quacks and the spots on their bills are green instead of the blue/black that females are supposed to have.
Then yesterday in the sun I could see some green coming in on the black spots on their wings.
Now I have a dilemma we only have two pekin girls, so now we have to decide if we are rehoming one (pretty much already decided that we are keeping them both) or we are getting more ducks.
How many more ducks would we have to get? Would two be enough?
Oh and another bad thing both our pekins are crested and one of the swedes is crested. Of course the crested swede is my favorite. Figures.
I am going to wait until the tail feathers come in before contacting the breeder and reserving more ducks, how long will it take for the drake feathers to curl?
Anyways any advice would be appreciated.
