Well, little peep is going well this morning. Is fairly quiet except when she get's stuck on her back and can't roll back over, lol. And really likes to be held.

Here is an updated video of her all fluffy. Yes I know the brooder is hot, but she kept cheeping when it was 90, and is now quiet and happy with it at 102, so I'm gonna let her be happy, considering she doesn't have any siblings to cuddle with, just her big stiffed duck thingy.

Any sign of another chick yet?

So it seems the digital thermostat did a good job for you? Would you recommend them to others that are building incubators?

Well, out of the 3 eggs that went in the hatcher, 1 hatched, 1 was really smelly, so I got it out fast before it blew, LOL, and the last one never hatched. So Little peep has been kept company by her stuffed chick and a mirror. Yesterday she was cheeping up a storm, so thinking she had gotten stuck on her back again, I rushed in to find she was just having a conversation with the cute chick in the mirror!

Oh, also since I won't have more chicks for a week or so, I found little peep a home with chicks that are to hatch this weekend, and the family is really excited to add a Columbian Wyandotte to their flock. So it's win win, she gets friends and the family gets a sweet chick.
