I just got word on what kind of chicks I'm getting. 2 gold brabanters and 2 salmon faverolles, all of them are 2 wks old

I have to say I would be told not to go back to that feed store due to they have sneaky ducks but ya know I would drive by and they would just hop a ride with me

Wooo hoooo!.. Congrats!.. I actually picked up 3 at the feed store the other day.. Hubby says.. "are we done getting animals yet".. hahhaaa.. Although he is the one whom I catch playing with them ALL THE TIME.. andddd who HAD to get the Chicken Coup finished!..

in all fairness...our house is only 924 square feet...while the lot is nearly 6000

Not enough room for you? Oh, bother. We just built a poultry house bigger than my son's room and it looks like the run will be larger than our house. No one warned me about the horrible side effects of pouttry static.

Static free. Was at the feed store for DE and they had ducks. I didn't even get a look at them since it was 5:29 and they closed at 5:30.
Then after date night dinner at the local mexican place, we spent date night at Tractor Supply and they also had ducklings. I contemplated asking if I could borrow one while we shopped LOL
But DH said 3 dogs and 3 ducks was plenty when I asked if we needed a goat raising for dummies book or anything else.... we don't need any more animals.
I disagree. What's a few more ducks.
But the static block worked tonight lol
