I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooooo bored!!

I just got up from a nap .... Now what ... lots I could do ... Just don't want to.

I've done most of that already. Laundry is out on the line drying, dishes were tackled last night and today (I'd been slacking big time!

I'm about to fall asleep sitting here, so I guess I could take a nap. But then it would probably be dark when I woke up, which would throw my whole time-table out of whack. I'd scare the poor quail to death getting eggs, the dog would have worked herself into a frenzy thinking she was going to get starved for the day, and the poor silkie baby that can't figure out how to get on top of the quail cages with her guinea buddies would be bunking with a broody cochin (not good!). So I guess I'm still bored

I got some of my work done. Now I'm here again pretending I don't hear the children who are supposed to be sleeping.

I'll be out there sweating tomorrow, I'm going to move the porch brooder babies to the small coop, and the fence needs some work. It has chain-link now, and those chicks would be able to walk right through it. So I get to put some of that plastic garden fencing around it to keep the little stinkers in. But today was a lazy day

Hopefully I can get to sleep before 4 am tonight, so I'm not so dumpy tomorrow!!

When is that cold-front supposed to move through?

I think it's only supposed to be mid to upper 70's tomorow, should be nice out. I get to clean my trailer (the outside). The back part had weeds growing up really tall, and with the dampness I got green stuff growing on the trailer

so I got some stuff that is supposed to clean it off.

Then Monday morning at 7 AM they are bringing out the wood for the deck, so I have to be up for that

What part of Retirement didn't I understand when I signed up for this??? Guess I didn't have my readin' specks on for the fine print that day

20 ducks, 2 geese, 80-some quail, 12 guineas, and over 100 chickens....I don't need anymore birds!!
