Just two! I'm not complaining!

I think only 3 of the 6 eggs were fertile. The 3rd egg that was growing stopped a week or more ago. We opened it to find her heart was outside of her body. I guess nature took care of it.

"lockdown" is when you take teh eggs off the turner, and stop touching or moving them until they have hatched. The incubator is LOCKEDDOWN, not opened at all unless of an emergency. The chicks don't need to eat for 24-48 hrs after hatch they are still eating the egg yolk.
