I TRULY BELIEVE THAT OUR PET FRIENDS NEVER LEAVE US! When you "see" her, it's because she is there. There are firm beliefs among some that if you dream about the one you've lost, that this is the time they communicate with us, the living, because that (sleep) is the time we are most receptive to their communications. I choose to believe this because it gives me comfort, and I still feel a connection to my lost pets. Feel free to talk out loud when you see her, and say "HI. Good dog, I'll always love you." I'm getting verclempt, so I must go. Feel free to talk amongst yourselves...

I am sorry for your loss. I recently lost my dog of 9 years. (6/26/09). I am not sure what happened, I came home after being gone for 4 days and found her under a tree in the yard. Laying there like she was sleeping. I totally was not expecting it at all. My husband said she was fine that morning. I think she may have had a heart attack or something. My husband checked her all over and found no wounds. I really miss her all the time.
