I'm stumped on Sylvia's breed...

If she is a he I've read cochin rooster are fairly docile. We have a RIR rooster that is wearing me thin... I'm trying to convince the hub to rehome him. If he do rehome that would allow Sylvia to move into his old place if she is a he. I don't want another mean rooster though...

I read somewhere that silkies always have 5 toes. I was bummed when I did a quick check and saw she only had four distinct toes, until today when I thought I saw an extra toe nail on one foot... It turns out she does have five toes! Well, sorta. The right foot the toes look like they are somewhat split, the left foot looks more like one toe has two toe nails, it isn't as split. What does that mean? Is she definitely a silkie blend or are there other breeds with 5 toes? Do silkies have 5 distinct, separate toes, or is this typical?
