I'm sure this has been debated before, but whats the friendliest "pet" turkey breed?

I have a few broad breasted bronze for now, but not thinking i would enjoy them this much, kinda had them with dinner in mind, not as a strict pet. But ,y son and I love them, and now I'm thinking of getting a few to keep solely as pets. I really like the midget whites, royal palms, bourbon and red slates, but am open to any ideas!

Thx!

Don't currently have any turkeys, so cannot really help you out. But I have taken a fancy to the Bourbon, Lavenders, and the Midget Whites. Good luck on your choice!

My black spanish is really skittish and I spent time trying to tame her, but she never came around. I've heard from others that they are often skittish. I have a bourbon spanish mix who will eat out of my hand but that's about it. A lady I know has bourbon reds and they follow her around and let strangers pet them. I asked her if she spent a lot of time with them and she said only when she feeds them. So I think I'll be getting bourbons next.

My Bourbons are the same way. They follow me around and won't get out of my way when I walk. I have to go around THEM! They won't budge. Go figure! But I love my birds.

Thx peeps! That's kinda what i was reading, they seem to be the nicest. So far, these bronze breasted are nice, the male will let ya mess with him, the female is pretty skittish. i like the look of the bourbon reds too.
