We have 4 3 week old chicks. This is our first time raising chicks and it has been a great experience!
a few nights ago, the babies started making sooooo much noise right around 630. I hurried upstairs to see what was going on. I leaned down to peek in, resting my arms on the edge of their pen. Within seconds four little chicks were happily snuggled on my shoulders and quiet as could be. How cute, I thought and I let them hang out while I sat on the couch with the kids for a while.
Well, it happened again the following night... and then again last night! I am pretty sure they have trained me quite well at this point. I am officially a chick momma...or as my husband and kids call me, a crazy chicken lady.
