My husband and I purchased whatwe thought were 2 barred rocks from Rural King about a month ago. One barred rock looks exactly how we expected, theother looks nothing like it. Can anyone help me? She has a green tint, like an Australorp and pointy neck feathers.

Probably an Australorp or black sex link. It's a little early to know for sure.

Chicks could have gotten into the wrong bin at the feed store. You could call them to find out what other breeds they had/have.

Well, it's not a BR. Yes, I would call the feed store, and ask. Probably a Austrolorp.
