Chickens don't usually lay at night. I don't think you would get the results you're looking for. Just a cage full of poop and some irritated chickens.

I do not recommend this as you will not get any eggs, only a lot of blood and possible deaths.

Yeah, three chickens waking up in that small a space are going to be pretty ****** off and start taking it out on each other. So, poop, feathers, blood and dead chickens. Not the results you're looking for.

Agreed - what is the reasoning that lead you to consider this? Perhaps we can offer alternatives if we know what the thought process is.
