Just a little fyi...it was a sparrow (I don't think we have starlings here on O`ahu and if we do, not in town lol).

I really feel your pain. I just lost the runt of my new clutch last night. He was less than a day old. I cried and cried all last night. This morning I cried some more. I had invested a lot of time in trying to save this bird's life but it was to no avail.

I mean we may want to save all birds just as i tried to hatch an egg that had already suffered a chill. But oft times we are fighting God's will it seems. God did not want my bird to live this time. Maybe God did not want that little baby to live on this plane any longer either. We think we know best and can take things in our own hands but sometimes we just have to learn to let go.
