What color eggs have they layed?
The frizzle lays white eggs, hatched from a olive egg.Must have come from the polish. The buff hen laid a light blue egg. These 2 hens are 1/2 sisters same frizzle polish rooster daddy.Moms were a blue cuckoo olive egger(white frizzle was her baby)and an easter egger(buff hen was her baby). What color eggs have they layed?
Something like this:Hi! I found this thread looking for buff laced polish crosses and was pleasantly surprised to see talk about polish and EE crosses! I recently(last week) got a new batch of chicks and among them I got some buff laced polish pullets and a roo. I also got some more EE pullets and one of them looks like it's going to be all white. Now I'm wondering what kind of chicks I'd get if I crossed the buff laced polish roo with that all white EE. Has anyone done this cross? I've got a pretty mixed flock and I'm curious as to how to determine what chicks I'll get crossing that polish roo with the different hens. The hens I have are: EE's, light brahmas, speckled sussex, anconas, salmon faverolles, barred rocks, buff orpingtons, rhode island reds, silver spangled hamburgs, white jersey giants, and of course buff laced polish. Anyone with buff laced roos tried a cross with any of those? I've tried that chicken calculator but I don't know for sure if I'm putting in the right genes and it doesn't mention what egg color and I don't understand some of the descriptions. Plus it doesn't have an EE in the list. I sure do appreciate any kind of info or advice! Thanks all!![]()
