What about a heat lamp?

I could do a heat lamp ( i have a ton of them..)..but i would have to have it pretty high...because they cant be able to reach up and yank it down...(and they will yank it down if they can reach it... rotten little beasts...

)..so, i'm worried about a fire in their barn if they yank it down...
Good idea though...i'll see if i can safely rig one up for them...

As I'm typing this my two spring born pots are out playing in the snow. Your pigs will be fine.
Just like any outdoor animal, keep the sleeping area dry and out of the wind. I like straw better than hay for keeping them warm. Straw insulates better and stays dry longer. I had some old hay bales here last winter so I lined the sleeping pen (inside of the barn)with them two to three bales high. Then I opened up a bale of straw in the middle of it. I would add straw as needed. The pigs looked comfy cozy. When it got really cold I hung a red heat lamp above it. It didn't provide much heat but seemed to give them the warm fuzzies.
You could probably line it with hay or straw bales and then tarp the top to hold in body heat. The pigs snuggle together in a line and squabble over the center spot.
