Just saw the news about T.S. Imelda making landfall at Galveston,TX.
You guys will have some duck-weather in the next couple of days…

It's going to be non stop rain for days. I had no idea this was coming so I hadn't stocked up on toilet paper yet. Hopefully tomorrow morning I can make it to the store to get some.

Imelda pretty much blew up out of nowhere, no warning. It wasn't there, and then 3 hours later it was smacking Houston. I have family in Clute and grandchildren in Sugarland. Stay safe, everybody!

According to this I've only gotten 5+ inches at in my area.
My baby pool was empty this morning...it is full now.

Just received an automated call from the school district...we are on standby for school tomorrow.
Not closed yet but that will probably change by morning.
Our streets are already about to be in trouble and this just started.
I am kicking myself now for not going shopping today.

It was trying to rain while we were putting up the ducks. Double rainbow. We could use 5 or 6 inches of rain. It has been a dry summer. They are saying we may get two inches by Friday.

I kept mine inside today because I didnt know when I would get home. As it is I'm only here til about 10, gotta go back out driving before I dont have a car to make money with.
