Immediate crisis, abandoned egg, please help

I DO have a little solution when this happens. During incubating our power went out and I put insulated winter coats over the incubator. After 30 minutes I just put the eggs in a little box and got in the suv with the heater on with my hubby and we drove to the nearest feed store to get hand and foot warmers. Worked like a charm!

A newbie to this site in general so I'm just reading through some threads - this one just got me. Seriously, best little success story ever? From Dona, to Cookie, to all the great support and advice! Bravo to everyone!:clap:jumpy
Glad you liked it! As far as stories go, this one had a great ending!

Does your mama hen have a namesake? Sounds like it might be a nod to Doctor Who. Which is funny if it is because I have an Amy (aka amelia pond) with some babies in the coop right now who is a straight doppleganger for ms. Sarah jane.
