So we have the sweetest hen we have ever had, she is a bantam cochin, and we were collecting her eggs to hatch. They hatched today, and she happend to go broody a couple weeks ago, so we decided to put the chicks under her so she could raise her own chicks and not be broody anymore. When we put the chicks in, she was pecking at them. She's never pecked us, even when we get her eggs from under her when she is broody. She doesn't even squawk. TIA

Did you put the chicks under her at night? How much is she pecking Them?
If she is pecking Them too much and the chicks show that they are uncomfortable, such as pippin very loud the hen may not have accepted them.
If the chicks are bleeding remove them immediately
