IMP, I have another strange question for you.

Moose has a beefier taste than venison. It's been a long time, but when I was a kid I liked moose more than any other meat, especially compared to that nasty ole salmon!

Why not? Dillo is easy to hunt for. Don't need no big ol' fancy rifle with thousand dollar scopes on em. All you need is a shovel......

To scrape em off the road with.

I agree mom'sfolly. Tastes like beef without the fattiness of beef. So maybe like tenderloin, just not as tender.

To this day the 4th of July doesn't seem right without moose chili. Kinda like Turkey on Thanksgiving.

Imp- I agree about the salmon too. We fished for it all the time, but I cannot ever remember eating it as a kid. We either gave it away, sold it, or used it as crab bait.

btw- I remember liking mountain goat, but don't remember what it tasted like. None of us liked bear, so we jerkied the entire thing and gave it to relatives in california. Mom got hysterical over the wolf, not even an option to think about eating it.(too much like a dog)

You'd have to have a really big freezer for a Sasquatch.
