Update: she seems to have done well today out with her flock. Hopefully the mineral oil, and all that water she was drinking finally moved things through. I saw her face in the feeder, and at the waterer throughout the day, and she seems to be alert and happy this evening. Tail up, and active. I gave her a little more scrambled egg with a little calcium, and another 2ml of mineral oil.

They should be going to roost in another hour, so my plan is to let her do just that, and see how she is in the morning. No egg from her today.

Her crop was empty this morning. She also had a sizable pile of poop under where she roosted, that was very brown and fibery, likely the remains of the grocery bag she ate.

I gave her some yogurt, and sent her out with the rest. We’ll see how today goes.

She seems to have two good days, and then a day or two of difficulty. Tuesday and Wednesday, she was alert and doing great. Up until about an hour ago, she was also doing great. But now she is standing alone, head tucked, wings hanging down, clearly in pain again.

She's back in the house tonight. Struggling to move another soft/no shell egg. She's drinking a lot, so I suppose that is good. She also keeps closing her eyes, and I can only assume that is from pain in trying to move that thing. She's in a warm space, and if this is anything like all the other like events this week, this one too will pass and she will be feeling better.

I thought about just leaving her out there, and let her go to roost with the others if she could. But, I figured the stress of this, plus the normal nightly fussing they do for positions on the roost wasn't something she would enjoy tonight. The others were also picking at her back side, so maybe they sense she is in trouble.

It sounds like you did the best to bring her in. I can’t believe she just doesn’t seem to stop laying those shell less eggs, after all this time.

Well, once again, she passed another soft shelled egg. Looks like it was this morning sometime before I went to check on her. As soon as I went in to check on her, she was trying to eat it.

She is perkier again, and eating and drinking. I honestly didn't think she would make it through the night. I figured, this time, I would find a dead bird.

And like all days, as soon as it warms up a bit, and I'm sure she is eating well, I will send her outside to be with her flock mates.

It must have been a miserable night for her.

LOL They do like to eat them too. She might enjoy a nice scrambled egg treat along with her food.

I know you've probably been through all this in your others threads, but what % protein is your feed? Is it a layer feed or all flock? You've been giving extra calcium right? Poultry vitamins?
How much "extras" does she get as far as "treats" go (scratch, seeds, etc.). Do they stay confined to coop/run or free range?
