I had a chicken get sick. She stopped moving around and eating. She had all the signs that people on here describe for sour crop (swollen squishy crop with a bad smell). I tried a few things but she ended up not making it.
When I opened her gizzard she was jammed full of cherry pits! My kids had been sitting on the back deck spitting the seeds on the ground and she was gobbling them up. Just thought I'd post this so it doesn't happen to someone else.
