Ivermectin use in cats?

Pics
Several nights ago there was a skirmish on the back deck. I turned the light on quickly enough to see a fairly large gray animal scooting off the deck with Scaredy in full pursuit. Most likely either another cat or a raccoon. She is now sporting two scratches across her nose. Rabies is endemic in our area, and my major worry has been that she might become exposed. So far so good. Her coat is sleek, but she is not eating as much as I would like to see. Just the nature of an old cat?

Get her a booster, just in case.

Keep us posted Sour, hope she's ok.

Well, she's entering her 15th autumn/winter - slightly arthritic and a little thinner than I like but as spunky as ever. Washed her bedding and turned on the heating pad in her 'winter' house as the evenings are getting a bit cool.

Sorry if this has been said but there are WAY too many replies for me to sift through.

If she is a TNR, her ear would be tipped. You would be able to see if from quite a distance away. If she isn't and your vet won't fix her (🙄) then find someone who will. There are plenty of volunteer groups that will come out, trap her, get her sterilized, get her shots, treat her for fleas/worms/whatever she has going on, and release her back on your property. You will have kittens, feral kittens, coming out of your ears soon with all the tom cats showing up to help make this a reality. Well over 1500 cats are euthanized each day. Please help stop this! I will now dismount my soapbox....

No need to get on your soapbox. She has been her 15 years and no kittens = she has been spayed. Not a TNR as her ear is not clipped. I have no idea what her life story is. If only she could talk.

Hope you don’t think I was being $h*tty! I just read the beginning and maybe I missed where you have have her that long. I've worked at many shelters and given many cats ivermectin. I've never seen any reactions. When I say many, I mean thousands...
