Impatiently waiting...

We are supposed to have chicks delivered this week from Welp... They aren't here yet. They could have been sent yesterday I guess, so they could be here tomorrow. Do they not tell you when they're shipping and when to expect delivery? I just hope they aren't lost in the mail for the last 3 days and didn't know it...

This is what it says on Welp's website:

"Q. How long will it take to get my chicks?
A. Your chicks should get to your post office about the second day after the ship date. For example, if the ship date is Monday, Jan. 1, your chicks should get to you on Wednesday, Jan. 3. There are times where it may take 3 days for your chicks to arrive. Please don't panic, in most cases they will be just fine provided you give them plenty of water and heat when they arrive. "

Did Welp tell you the "ship date"?

I know the agony your going through I'm waiting on my fuzzy butts from them right now. Mine should be here sometime tomorrow. I was a little hesitant when ordering from farther away just because I know it will take longer for them to get here. When I got my chicks from Ideal last week my chicks were hatched Wed 10am and I got them Thur at 7:30am talk about fast shipping. Just sit tight they will come.......

and you'll post pics when they arrive right? I just love fuzzy butt pictures.

understand your impatience. I had been awaiting mine from McMurry. No call yesterday morning and I was bummed. I went to work and got a call from the PO at 830 saying come and get my chicks by 900am. Well, I drove over and got there at 900 and picked them up. I am now a proud owner of 25 chicks. all arrived alive, and this morning I am still at 100%. I did have to lower the temp down to 90 but other than that all are eating, drinking and peeping. I hope you get yours soon safe and sound.

I placed the order online and it said that they're hatch days are Mondays and Wednesdays, but no word on an actual shipping day. Of course I'll post fuzzy butt pics when I get them. I have to show off the babies.

I should get my order from X-treme in the morning. I know it is agony but it is here before you know it.
I have everything ready and waiting. The last thing to do is turn on the light before I go pick them up and fill the water bottle with fresh water and vits.
I have only 25 coming from them and in another week I have an order coming from Ideal with another 25.
Tell me I'm crazy........

I already have over 100 now!

This is my first batch of chickens too. Speckled Sussex. I ordered vitamins and grow gel at the same time and they shipped that last week. No word on a confirmation or ship date for the chicks though... I hope they didn't forget since they shipped the other stuff. If they aren't here in the morning I'll call. I let the post office know too. We'll see...
